The Japanese author is mostly famous as being the creator of the popular Dragon Ball manga series, which has fans all over the world and has given rise to a well-known anime series

Debuting the manga series back in 1984, it portrayed the tale of a boy named Son Goku, who embarks on a journey to collect magical dragon balls to save Earth 

from alien humanoids named Saiyans. The anime adaptation came in 1989 and quickly gained international recognition, becoming one of the most recognized pieces of Japanese media globally.

According to his studio, it has sold a total of 260 million copies. Toriyama had worked for 45 years and left behind some unfinished work at the time of his passing."

It is extremely regrettable that he still had several works in progress with great enthusiasm. He could have accomplished so much more,

but he left behind so many comic titles and works of art. He has worked with many Japanese celebrities, including Masashi Kishimoto, creator of the popular series 

Eiichiro Oda, creator of ``One Piece,'' one of the longest-running anime series. It has become a source of inspiration for many manga artists.
