The NFL’s typically quiet offseason heated up on Monday, despite the fact that it has been slightly over a month since the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl.
Two of the most well-known players in pro football at their positions, Kirk Cousins and Saquon Barkley, flew the coup on Monday for the Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons, respectively, upsetting the usually quiet NFL offseason.
After playing six seasons with the team that is currently known as the Washington Commanders, Cousins, 35, spent six seasons in Minnesota.
Although the NFL’s 2024 schedule hasn’t been revealed, every team is aware of their opponents for the upcoming season. Coincidentally, this season the Falcons are scheduled to visit the Vikings.
Barkley, a three-time 1,000-yard rusher for the New York Giants, said the following on X: “I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported and loved me over the last six years. eternally appreciative eager to read the upcoming chapter.”
His subsequent post consisted of just two eagle heads.
