Bulls broadcaster fooled by fake reports about Derrick Rose’s retirement

The internet can be a cruel and cruel place most of the time, and NBA fans are being fooled by Saturday night’s Chicago Bulls vs. Washington Wizards. Look no further than the broadcasts between.

Bulls play-by-play announcer Adam Amin and color commentator Stacey King were fooled by a false report that former Bulls star and current Memphis Grizzlies backup Derrick Rose would be out of the NBA after 15 seasons. It was done.

King brought up a “report” from the broadcast, which turned out to be a fake account posing as ESPN NBA reporter Adrian Wojnarowski.

“Available on the Internet. Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Derrick Rose will retire after 15 seasons,” Dr. King said.

“How about this?” Amin answered.
At 35 years old, Rose is certainly closer to the end of his career than he was to the beginning, but it’s not true that he will retire from the NBA midseason.

Perhaps this is news worth noting later, but for now Rose is still an active player with the Grizzlies and not retiring.
